My wife told me on Saturday that she's going to get me a car in the $60-70k range once she's done with residency. She's insisting that I get the C7 'Vette. She says it suits me more than the 911/Cayman or an M3.

I think she just says that because she has a 328i and I like my Miata.

But yeah, all these years of putting up with med school and residency will pay off! Yay!

My job is pretty BS too (project management! yay!), but whatever. It affords me enough money to train in martial arts/Crossfit (oh shit, I hear the /r/fitness guys coming to berate me!) and buy a few toys for my Miata every year. So I'm happy enough.

My lawyer friends make 2x as much as I do, but also work maybe 2x as much as I do, so I'm not sure about the payoff...
